they (whoever they are) always say that practice makes perfect... and one must wonder... could that possibly be true? how much of what they say is true?
through my limited life experience, however, i've found it to be true. practice does make perfect. looking back at things i've completed (riding a bike, catching skittles in my mouth, calligraphy) i've done nothing but improved the more i've worked at it.
such is the case with Adobe CS6. i've had photoshop under my belt for about a year and a half, but just recently purchased the rest of the creative suite. i nervously would open the applications as my brain twisted and turned and said "WHAT THE HECK IS A VECTOR BASED PROGRAM?!"
i took a class for photoshop, but i've decided to try to teach myself illustrator & indesign--so far so good! i've watched some tutorials & spent (probably too much) time doodling
here are my first doodles... or... FOODles, ha.
i'm excited for the new stuff i can create with these incredible programs at my fingertips!
